Teach relationships like sports:
If we were coaching soccer, we would teach the rules, goals, field, players, and plays.
We would practice the fundamental skills of soccer: passing the ball,
kicking, dribbling, shooting...
Most sex educations teach injuries (STDs and pregnancy) and anatomy.
Most sports don't cover every possible injury nor the anatomy of your body.
Why is that?
I believe in teaching relationships like we would teach a sport:
I recognize relationships, courting, and sex practices change through time.
When I, Harry, was in college, I used AOL Instant Messenger to help communicate. Now Snapchat is the norm.
Before me, people used pagers and answering machines. Tomorrow it will be something else.
What I write today will be antiquated in a few years. I plan to update this document
and pass it on to a team who is passionate about getting accurate, practical advice and information.
This book, course, and content is living. It grows with your involvement.
Tell me how you got in and out of a relationship. What went well? What went poorly? Did you meet your goals? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? (5 Why's method
to get to the root cause)
My mission is helping people get in (and out) of relationships
while being safe and respectful.
I want to help you meet your relationship goals
...as long as it is between consenting adults, I don't pass judgement.
So how do you get to find, attract, and get into a relationship
with another consenting adult? That's all in the book!
